He has also been instrumental in the ownership and management of more than 15,000 units across 13 states. Tom earned a degree in Accounting from California State University, Hayward, and is a former CPA. When not at work, he enjoys cycling and crafting wine as a semi-professional winemaker.
Farrokh Billimoria advises on investment strategy, capital raising, and risk management for Green Leaf. Before co-founding the firm, he established Mynt Capital, focusing on distressed residential investments, and served as a General Partner at Artiman Ventures. Farrokh’s career spans leadership roles in capital markets and real estate, bringing unparalleled insight to Green Leaf’s strategic decisions.
Shem Streeter leads Green Leaf’s investment strategy, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. Over his 23-year career, Shem has managed $5 billion in transactions, delivering exceptional value to investors and advancing the firm’s growth. Shem holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He enjoys skiing, golfing, and ocean activities.
Linda Oliver serves as Chief Operations Officer, overseeing all property management operations, corporate and regional marketing, capital project management, staffing, human resources, and employee education. Since joining Green Leaf in 2012, she has directed the management of all properties and facilitated key acquisitions and dispositions. Linda is also responsible for developing customized asset management strategies that drive strong investment outcomes. With 30 years of industry experience, including leadership roles at Archstone-Smith, Essex Property Trust, and Equity Residential, Linda brings unparalleled expertise to her role. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Arizona and is a Certified Property Manager. Outside of work, Linda enjoys hiking, sailing, and spending time with her dogs.
Cathy Ritter has played a pivotal role in Green Leaf’s financial operations since its inception in 2010. She oversees all finance processes, investor relations, and tax planning, ensuring accurate reporting and seamless communication with stakeholders. Cathy holds a degree in Finance from California State University, East Bay, and has completed advanced coursework in real estate finance at NYU. When not working, she enjoys international travel, making homemade jams, and volunteering with local nonprofits.
Ben Gordon leads the development and execution of asset-specific business plans across Green Leaf’s portfolio. With over 20 years of multifamily operations experience, he has successfully implemented strategies for value-add repositioning, revenue optimization, and expense management. Ben earned his MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Business and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from UCLA. He enjoys hiking, coaching youth sports, and playing hockey in his free time.
Cristin Kiper Sanchez has been a vital part of Green Leaf’s success, managing over $2 billion in acquisitions and $1.6 billion in dispositions since joining the company. She is deeply involved in transaction strategy, ensuring smooth execution and strong outcomes for Green Leaf’s investment properties. Cristin is a licensed California Real Estate Broker and a member of several professional associations, including the National Association of Realtors. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and exploring culinary creativity.
Dave Burrill oversees construction and energy retrofits at Green Leaf, ensuring sustainability and efficiency in capital projects. With over 30 years of experience in green technology, Dave’s expertise drives the firm’s commitment to innovation. A graduate of San Diego State University, Dave enjoys sailing, mountain biking, and volunteering in fire abatement efforts.
As Controller, Vilija Paulauskas oversees Green Leaf’s financial reporting, compliance, and strategic decision-making processes. With over 20 years of experience and a degree in Finance and Economics, Vilija ensures the company’s financial health through precise analysis and reporting. Prior to joining Green Leaf in 2013, Vilija worked as a portfolio accountant at Sequoia Equities and served as an internal auditor in Lithuania. She enjoys hiking, gardening, and playing pickleball in her spare time.
Since 2018, Nina Chakalian has supported Green Leaf’s daily operations, including accounts payable, vendor compliance, and acquisitions. With over 20 years of administrative experience, she ensures seamless coordination across departments. Nina enjoys exploring nature and spending time outdoors.
Amirra Elgamiel (f .Besh) supports the organization in a variety of areas including investor relations, internal and external branding, employee engagement as well as additional finance and operations projects. Drawing on nearly 20 years of leadership experience in healthcare, her strategic insights strengthen the team and enhance organizational efficiency. Amirra holds a degree in International Economics from UCLA. She enjoys an active life of hiking, adventuring, cooking, reading and volunteering.
Jin Han specializes in cross-border fundraising and investment projects, leveraging extensive experience in private equity and real estate. Based in Shanghai and Seoul, she plays a key role in expanding Green Leaf’s global investor network. Jin earned a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and a BA in Philosophy from Ewha Women’s University. Outside of work, she enjoys marathon running and camping.
Rebecca Volker brings over seven years of property management experience to her role as Marketing Manager. Leveraging her expertise, she supports onsite managers with innovative marketing solutions that enhance property value and drive results. Her prior experience managing diverse portfolios—from student housing to affordable properties—gives her unique insight into operational and marketing needs. Rebecca holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Boise State University and is CAM certified. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, staying active, and spending time at the beach with her family.
As an Asset Management Associate, Ian Cook monitors the financial performance of Green Leaf’s assets, manages contracts and invoices for large capital projects, and conducts market research to support acquisitions. Working closely with the Construction Manager, Ian ensures projects are completed efficiently and align with company goals. Ian holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Denver, where he developed his expertise in financial analysis. Before joining Green Leaf, Ian gained valuable experience at Zenith Home Loans as a Loan Processing Intern. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor adventures with friends and family.
